Arsema Thomas Sexy

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, but her Nigerian father and Ethiopian mother would move her to Africa where she’d live in multiple countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Togo, and Benin. Arsema would eventually return to the States and receive a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 and Masters of Public Health in Health Policy from Yale University in 2018. Not long after her father’s death due to Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Arsema decided to switch gears and pursue an acting career. She started at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Cours Florent in Paris before attending the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in London, UK in 2020. The year she graduated, Arsema made her feature film debut in the romantic drama Redeeming Love (2022) but she’s most well known for snagging the coveted role of Young Lady Agatha Danbury in the prequel spin-off series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
