In the Be Careful What You Wish for Department there’s Elizabeth Coffey, one of Baltimore Bard John Waters’s troupe who appeared in a couple of his movies, most notoriously in Pink Flamingos (1972), the story of the filthiest family in the world. Elizabeth stood out for her role as a park flasher. She first flashed some nice boobs, only to sour the deal by pulling up her skirt and revealing a flaccid dong. The transsexual worked only once more, in Waters’s Female Trouble (1974), another camp-trash classic, where a post-op Elizabeth comforted the jail-bound Divine in a scene so gender confusing you won’t know what’s turning you on.
