She’s of Nigerian descent, but this charismatic Canadian was born and raised in Vancouver, where she would eventually attend Simon Fraser University and graduate from its School for the Contemporary Arts. But her screen career started long before she concluded her studies. Her very first role was in an episode of MacGuyver in 1990 and a year later she had a recurring role on the teen drama series Fifteeen (the same soap that launched the career of Ryan Reynolds). With close to one hundred acting credits on her resume (plus some writing and producing ones too), it’s kind of crazy how long it took her to show some skin, especially considering some of the hit TV shows she’s been a part of: Grey’s Anatomy (2007), Rookie Blue (2010-2015), Masters of Sex (2016), Workin’ Moms (2021-2023), and Paradise (2025) just to name a few. But it was her appearance in Max’s 2025 medical drama The Pitt that got her here, albeit because of some small screen magic that made her look like her vagina was actually pushing out a baby! It’s a graphic birthing sequence that takes a turn when she starts bleeding out, so not the sexiest of circumstances for sure, but we’re still thankful it brought this babe to our attention!
