The way to spice up a plain Jane is to add a “y.” Why? Because that’s how sexpots Jayne Mansfield, Jayne Kennedy, and Elizabeth Jayne spell the name. It therefore makes sense that Jayne Eastwood did the same. Even though the Canadian comedian/actress isn’t as overtly sexy as those ladies, she can tickle Mr. Skin’s funny-bone while giving him a bone. Now that’s what we call multitasking! This is especially true when it comes to the racy romp My Pleasure is My Business (1974). However, it’s the dramatic film Goin’ Down the Road (1970) that raised our interest (among other things). In fact, Ms. Eastwood’s bare breasts and bum will have your wood heading north! Through the years, Jayne appeared in indie flicks (Drying Up the Streets) and big movie musicals (Chicago, Hairspray, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story). She also was a staple on Canadian television via kids’ programs (Ramona, Noddy); soap operas (High Hopes, Riverdale); and various comedies (Stay Tuned, Material World, King of Kensington, Billable Hours, The Endless Grind, Bizarre). When she wasn’t lending her voice to animated shows (Bob and Margaret, Monster by Mistake, AlfTales), Jayne was using her big eyes to elicit all kinds of emotions. No wonder, she won awards that most of us Stateside never heard of. So while being presented an Earle Grey award for her body of work may not have made Jayne a household name in the U.S., her figure could have scored an Anatomy Award if only she exposed it more!
