Born in Massachusetts but raised mostly in Hawaii, Chinese-American charmer Lauren Tsai first made waves as a model and then started making a name for herself as an artist and illustrator when she drew covers for the popular Marvel Comics West Coast Avengers and Captain Marvel. Since then she’s helped design fashion lines, collectibles, written some books, had her pwn art exhibitions, directed and animated music videos, and wrote and directed the sshort film The Dying World Part One: Forgetting in 2025. If you read all that and immediately thought, “Sure she can do all that, but can she act?” The answer is yes! After appearing as herself in Netflix’s Japanese reality series Terrace House: Aloha State from 2016 to 2017, Lauren got to take a crack at her first acting role in 2019 when she landed a recurring part on the FX Marvel series Legion. Since then, Lauren has been seen in the Netflix film Moxie (2021), the series Game of Spy (2022), and heard as a voice in the video game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (2025). When 2026 rolled around, Lauren popped up as a regular in the HBO Max comedy series Rooster, popping out of her clothes and into a skimpy swimsuit in the fourth episode.
