A Canadian babe born in Oshawa, Ontario, Maisy is the daughter of country duo MaryLynne and Brad Stella (who perform as The Stellas), which made her and her sister Lennon the perfect choices to play Connie Britton’s daughters on the country music drama Nashville from 2012 to 2018. During their run on the show, the sisters also recorded some country covers of their own, and in 2017 Maisy released her debut solo single “Riding Free.” In 2021, Maisy was featured on the soundtrack for writer/director Megan Park’s emotional teen drama The Fallout, which may have been what prompted Ms. Park to cast Maisy as the star of her follow-up film, My Old Ass in 2024. The comedy has Maisy playing a younger version of Aubrey Plaza as the two magically come face to face on the younger version’s eighteenth birthday. But don’t be misled by the title, it’s Maisy’s young ass that gets caught on camera for the first time when she sheds her clothes to go swimming. It’s a distant shot of derriere, but it’s there-iere!
