In 2023, Onyi Alaike went from humble Hamburg dentistry student to reality television star when she appeared as a contestant on the German version of Netflix’s dating series Too Hot To Handle. She and her fellow castmates looked for love throughout the season under the strict rule that physical intimacy was off limits if they wanted to win the big cash prize. Onyi ended up faring better than others when it came to this rule despite stripping down to take a shower with one of the male contestants. While she didn’t find her soulmate, she did end up finding a friend in Anna Strigl even though at one point they were both cozying up to the same dude.
