Originally from New York, Brazilian-American babe Sofia Masson is a trained singer and dancer who got her BA in Theatre and World Cinema from Montreal’s McGill University before making her way to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Sofia’s breakthrough role came in 2021 when she starred opposite Vivica A. Fox in the Lifetime Original movie The Wrong Cheer Captain. She ended up being asked to return to play a different character in the same production team’s 2022 television movie The Wrong Blind Date. After landing a bit part in the biopic Remember Me: The Mahalia Jackson Story, she kicked off 2023 with the crime thriller The Last Deal and the Tubi original drama Castaways. In the latter, Sofia plays Cara, one of two women who wash up on a deserted island after an apocalyptic event wrecks the ocean liner they were sailing on. The ladies find a waterfall and strip down to their undies to take a dip. Eventually all that frolicking leads to some sapphic smooching and Sofia loses her red bra though we only see her from the back. Sounds like they landed on the island of Lesbos!
