Though born and raised in Texas, Taylor Polidore Williams made her way to Georgia to attend Clark Atlanta University and get a degree in filmmaking in order to begin her screen career. Her very first acting credit was in the 2009 comedy Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins, and since then she’s appeared in over two dozen titles, including hit shows like the true crime doc series Fatal Attraction (2013-2015), The Pre-Quarter Life Crisis (2018), Black Lightning (2018-2019), Snowfall (2021-2023), Wicked City (2022-2023), and All American: Homecoming (2022-2024). Taylor has also become a regular VoiceOver artist in the world of television animation, but we prefer live-action Taylor, especially her 2024 role in the Tyler Perry Netflix series Beauty in Black. She plays a struggling stripper whose life takes a dark turn when it crosses paths with the wealthy head of a global cosmetics company. We see her briefly work the pole and perform a lap dance for a VIP, but this beauty keeps her Bs hidden beneath her sparkly bikini.
