The Drama (2026)

The week leading up to a wedding is stressful enough, but as the main characters of director Kristoffer Borgli’s fourth film, The Drama (2026), soon find out, there are ways of making it even more stressful! After several years together following a not-so-cute meet-cute, Charlie (Robert Pattinson) and Emma (Zendaya) are only a few days away from tying the knot. They invite their best friends and fellow couple Rachel (Alana Haim) and Mike (Mamoudou Athie) along to a wine tasting where the two couples engage in a fun game where they reveal their deepest, darkest secrets that they’ve never told anyone before now. When it comes Emma’s turn to reveal her secret, she says something that thoroughly shocks all three people at the table to their core, upending everything mere days before their big day. Charlie must now reevaluate everything he ever thought about the woman he’s about to marry, at one point even caving to an attempt to cheat on Emma with his co-worker Misha (Hailey Benton Gates), whose bra-clad cleavage and bethonged booty make cameos during their aborted hook-up! There’s also a sex montage early in the film between Pattinson and Zendaya, though the fast cutting and Austin Powers-esque placement of other body parts keeps us from really seeing any of Zendaya’s naughty bits, except perhaps a brief glimpse of her bare ass at the very beginning of the montage! That’s the real Drama, but go ahead and save it for your mama!
