Square-jawed, piercing-eyed Aaron Eckhart plays a Big Tobacco lobbyist in the acclaimed satire Thank You for Smoking (2005). As one of "The Merchants of Death," Eckhart's character hangs out with representatives of the alcohol and firearms industries in between swaying Washington, D.C., lawmakers to rule in favor of the cigarette business. Savage send-ups of Congress, consumerism, and carcinogens are tempered by intoxicating appearances by Smoking hotties Maria Bello and Katie Holmes.
