Anne Coesens won the Magritte Award for Best Actress for Illegal (2010). Yet it’s almost a crime that American movie goers probably have little knowledge of her, the award or that film. But leave it to Mr. Skin to educate you. We swear, it’ll be worth your while! After studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the National Superior Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Paris, the brainy beauty appeared in boob tube thrillers (Lyon police spéciale, Brigade spéciale) and flicks from France (La fonte des neiges) and Belgium (Private Lessons). But regardless of where a movie is made, we’re more interested in how it makes us feel. Fortunately, Vacances volées (1998) gives off good vibes since it uncovers Anne’s cans. If that’s not arousing enough, the erotic romance Cages (2006) showcases the brunette ingénue’s three Bs! Actually, it’s more than three if you count Bare Breasts, Butt, Bush — and Bondage! As satisfying as that role is, it’s not even as revealing as her part (or should we say, parts?) in Le secret (2000). The R rated drama is described as “a frank description of sexual exploration as part of a woman’s search for her own identity.” While the skintastic starlet looked for that, we located her full frontal! In fact, the film features plenty of scenes of her mams, muff and rump — including one that documents un-simulated sex. Talk about method acting! Even though the Academy didn’t give this performance an Oscar, audience’s members offer a standing ovation!
