Dark Matter (2008)

Based loosely on true events, this dark drama focuses on a student named Liu Xing (Liu Ye) from Beijing who has come to America to work for renowned cosmology theorist Jacob Reiser (Aidan Quinn), with the help of wealthy committee head, arts patron, and “devout orientalist” Joanna Silver (Meryl Streep). Xing and the professor clash as the student’s scientific breakthroughs regarding dark matter go against Reiser’s research, and Reiser ends up mentoring a new protégé (Lloyd Suh) whose success, in addition to the unfettered ire of Reiser, tank Xing’s hopes at a Nobel Prize and cbrings about a violent end to the story. But the film’s not all work and no play, thanks to a brief flash of Krystal King’s petite peaks and round rump during a dorm room bonestorming sesh that, sadly, gets interrupted. No matter, we’ll take whatever T&A we can get!
