Anna Maron (Iris Berben) realizes that it’s far past time to flee her sadistic husband, but it isn’t until a crash totals her car that Maron finds someone capable of coming to her rescue. The other driver is a crooked gangster with longstanding ties to the mob, but his muscle is just what Anna needs to help make a fresh start.
