Born of Turkish, Circassian, and Georgian descents, this award-winning actress attended Kadir Has Anatolian High School before enrolling in Istanbul University, graduation from both its Faculty of Political Sciences, International Relations Department and State Conservatory Theater Department. She started working in Turkish films and television in 2008 while continue to work on the stage with companies such as Craft Theatre. Funda is most known for her roles in the television series Canim Ailem (2008-2010), Istanbul'un Altınları (2011), Uçurum (2012), Karadayi (2014-2015), and Gecenin Kraliçesi (2016). In 2024, Funda spiced things up with her portrayal of Gökçe in the feature film Ashes.
