After taking a brief break from acting in the early nineties, the mature Julie appeared in The Princess Diaries (2001) and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004) while voicing characters in Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007), Shrek Forever After (2010) and Aquaman (2018).
