Ukrainian professional dancer Karina Smirnoff is widely known for her smooth moves and skimpy outfits on the primetime network reality competition show, Dancing With the Stars, where she shimmied and shook from 2006-2016. Before the beauty did the tango, she studied ballet, aerobics, figure skating, and piano until finally setting her sights on ballroom dancing. In 1992, at the age of fourteen, Karina moved to the US, where she graduated high school and set out to pursue a law degree before her dancing took off (she did eventually earn degrees in both Economics and Information Systems Programming from Fordham University in New York). Over her career, Karina has won dozens of dancing titles—she’s been the U.S. National Champion five times, a three-time champion at the U.S. Open, a five-time champion at the Dutch Open, was ranked #2 in the world for Latin Dance, and in season 13 of Dancing, she took home the coveted Mirror-Ball Trophy with partner J.R. Martinez. Not only does the toned, tanned, and totally hot Karina dance, but she also choreographs all her routines, and designs all her own costumes—what there is of them. Fortunately for Mr. Skin and the rest of the world at large, it’s tradition for the ladies to wear as little as possible while shaking their assets, and in one particularly delightful episode, Karina almost lost her skirt, showing the top of her tush is just as delicious as the rest of her. The pro is also quite generous, and has taught her dancing techniques to a wide variety of people, including Richard Gere, who she trained for the movie Shall We Dance (2004); she was even given a bit part in the movie.
