Lola (Maria Rodríguez Soto) is a forty-year-old artist who lives a contented life in Barcelona with her long-term partner Bruno (Enric Auquer). One day she starts experiencing a stomach ache but the cause ends up being something she never expected or even wanted - she’s ten weeks pregnant. Under the laws in Spain, Lola must take three days to consider her options before making a decision, and she’s leaning toward ending it. She likes her life the way it is, she’s happy and fulfilled, and her interactions with children are so stressful and exhausting that she usually avoids the ones in her own family. The problem is everyone else around her, even the supportive Bruno, seems to feel differently about what choice she should make.
