Marmor, Stein & Eisen (2000)

Nicki (Frank Giering) is the same as millions of men across Germany in one key respect: He finds television host Jennifer Stolz (Soraya Gomaa) drop-dead gorgeous. How Nicki differs, however, is that he’s desperate to do something about it. That’s the premise of Marmor, Stein & Eisen (2000), an outrageous comedy that finds the sad-sack protagonist and his best bud, Bullwitzer (Ralph Herforth), enacting a plot to kidnap one of the country’s biggest stars. Common sense says not to try this sort of thing, but Nicki and Bullwitzer do manage to get in some skinny dipping with the pretty young fräulein before the cops catch on.
