Born in Galway, Newcastle, Ireland, Nora-Jane Noone is better than the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. She had been acting in high school, most notably playing the "what character is that?" role of Jan in Grease, before getting her big break in The Magdalene Sisters (2002).
