Outerlands (2025)

The debut film from writer-director Elena Oxman, this family drama centers on Cass (Asia Kate Dillon), a solitary non-binary person working multiple jobs to afford their sparse one-bedroom in San Francisco. During the day, they’re a nanny and at night, a server at a restaurant, while also dealing drugs on the side. Cass doesn’t really fraternize with their coworkers, until one night they run into fellow server Kalli (Louisa Krause) at a laundromat. Kalli is a single mother whom Cass has developed a crush on, and after a romantic dalliance, Cass agrees to help Kalli out by watching her daughter, Ari (Ridley Asha Bateman), while Kalli takes a quick trip to Reno. But as days go by without Kalli returning, it starts to become clear that Cass may have to care for Ari permanently. As far as skin goes, Asia strips down to a tank and boxers, while Louisa appears in her bra and undies for their hook up and while frolicking on the beach. There's no nudity, but both ditch their outerwear for Outerlands!
