Pretty Thing (2025)

The first feature length script from actor Jack Donnelly (Friendsgiving), this erotic thriller follows Sophie (Alicia Silverstone), a successful marketing exec who meets a thirty-something cater waiter named Elliot (Karl Glusman) while he’s working at a party she’s attending. They have a passionate tryst at a hotel, after which Sophie reaches out to him and offers to fly him to Paris so they can keep shtupping while she’s there on business. The troubled Elliot falls head over heels and wants a real relationship while Sophie’s just in it for the sex, and when he tries (and fails) to form a real connection, he goes from smitten to downright obsessed. There are multiple sex scenes but while Alicia is as seductive as ever, she only teases in robes and lingerie, leaving the rest to our very active imaginations.
