An interesting experiment in verisimilitude, Projection privée (1973) concerns a film director who is trying to make a movie about his own life. As the story progresses, the director’s life begins to intersect with the actors’ lives in new and interesting ways, especially when it comes to the comely lead who is playing the director’s wife. Jane Birkin provides us with a nice lingering look at her famously perfect ass.
