Yet another skinsational starlet is gone too soon. According to a statement from her father, actress Hayden Panettiere passed away Sunday, August 16th at age thirty-six. At this time, the details of this tragic death are still unknown, but there is an ongoing investigation in Greenville, SC. Hayden’s death comes just three years after her brother Jansen passed away at age 28 due to aortic valve complications from enlarged heart syndrome.

Hayden hit the spotlight at a very young age, playing a recurring character on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live at just five and voicing the character Dot in Pixar's A Bug’s Life four years later. Audiences also remember her fondly for her spunky role in the sports drama Remember the Titans with Denzel Washington.
But Hayden gained monumental fame for her starring role in the hit sci-fi series Heroes as indestructible cheerleader Claire Bennet. The mantra “Save the cheerleader, save the world” became an iconic part of pop culture history, with the series giving us a taste of the titillating talent Hayden was growing up to be.
Hayden Panettiere's Sexiest Moments

Between 2008 and 2009, Hayden’s wardrobe on the big screen was getting skimpier and skimpier, culminating in a terrific towel drop in I Love You, Beth Cooperwhere Hayden flashes some nipple-covered side boob at the camera.
She continued to dial up the sexy when she returned to broadcast TV for the country music series Nashville, surely making the censors sweat with her rockin’ bikini bod.

Hayden recently revealed her personal struggles in a memoir titled This Is Me: A Reckoning, speaking out about addiction, postpartum depression, and even coming out as bisexual. We here at Skin Central were hopeful Hayden would continue to steam up the screen, and eventually deliver the nudity we’ve been thirsting for, but now we’re mourning this heartbreaking loss and the skin that could have been.
