Big-breasted with a wild, dark mane of hair and cat eyes, Rossy Mendoza is easily one of Mexico’s most desirable icons from the ‘70s and ‘80s. On screen, she’s appeared in over 50 credits, including the kinky comedy Los Gatos de las azoteas (1988), aka Rooftop Cats. For over a minute, Rossy is fully naked and showing her man the time of his life, while showing movie-goers all three of her spectacular Bs. And when Mr. Skin uses the word spectacular, he’s not exaggerating. Before her career in the movies, Rossy was an acclaimed burlesque dancer in Mexico, earning the nickname “The Body.” Her hourglass figure reportedly had the tiniest measured waist at the time, with curvy hips and awe-inspiring rack to accompany it. Her onstage career led to her roles in Mexican sex comedies, and she was noted to be one of the highest grossing artists in the genre, usually playing a showgirl, dancer, or damsel in distress. She starred in such titillating titles as La Llamado del sexo (1977), or The Call of Sex; El Sexo Sentido (1981), aka The Sex Sense; and El Sexo de los Pobres (1983), or The Sex of the Poor. Her legendary beauty has inspired paintings by José Luis Cuevas, and a Mambo composition by Dámaso Pérez Prada titled “The Waist of Rossy.” The beauty has made random appearances throughout the years, but mostly sticks to home, due to a Lupus diagnosis. She, along with other fabulous females of the era, was featured in the documentary Bellas de Noche (2016), or Beauties of the Night, which was nominated for an Ariel Award, Mexico’s equivalent of an Oscar.
