Sandra Hess had an entirely different career path in mind when she made a major change and took a chance. The Zurich, Switzerland native had always been interesting in acting, having been in a few TV commercials and done some modeling when she was 15, but acting as a career never seemed realistic, so the smart, multi-lingual beauty went to college and studied law. It didn’t take long for her to realize that wasn’t something she wanted. Leaving college, she moved to Los Angeles on her own and started taking acting classes. Sandra’s big break came in the hit Pauly Shore comedy Encino Man (1992) where she played Brendan Fraser’s cavewoman lover interest. From there several movies and TV shows followed including short stints on the soap operas General Hospital and The Young and the Restless.
