Of course, our version of Staff Picks has a decidedly skintillating angle, as we suss out which films from a particular subgenre are the best to find great nudity. This week let's cover one of the absolute coolest eras in moviemaking: 70s Japan.
The Japanese are amazing at filmmaking and the 1970s were a fabulous decade for movies around the globe. So it makes sense that Japan dipped its film industry into the trends that 70s films were going for. That means they included sex, exploitation, violence, and drug-infused trippiness just like the rest of the world. Here are hot 70s movies from the land of the rising sun that will make your pants rise.
In the Realm of the Senses
This is an absolute classic and it is filled with BDSM scenes in which Eiko Matsuda does everything - nearly everything - in the name of love. This is also based on a TRUE story in which a woman ends up doing something very extreme to her very extreme lover. No spoilers, but it's a fascinating story. It's also a skintastic movie to rile up ALL of your senses.
Sex Fury
There were a series of female revenge movies in the 70s and Japan was the leader in those kinds of films. Reiko Ike became an action heroine when she showed one tattooed tit in her action-packed films. Sex Fury is a title that gets straight to the point as several women are naked and Reiko goes on a furious violence spree to get vengeance.
Other babes are naked in the movie, including non-Japanese actress Christina Lindberg. There are even more lovely ladies to enjoy in this action-packed flick!
Female Yakuza Tale: Inquisition and Torture
Reiko Ike takes on her role Ochô Inoshika again in this badass film. In a case of mistaken identity, she is mistaken for a Chinese sex worker and gets captured and tortured by the Yakuza. She fights back, breaks free, and shows off her 3 B's in the process.
House
I absolutely adore House. This trippy 1977 film is a cult classic and it has been a midnight movie mainstay. The film follows a group of female friends who go to one of their aunt's house for a vacation. All is not what it seems because it is a haunted house and the aunt appears to be some kind of witch who is after all of the visitors in the house.
Go For It!!
This is an obscure 1976 film, so it may be hard to find. If you do find it, then you will love it because it is filled with gags and fun bags. There isn't much of a plot. Instead, there is slapstick comedy and goofs. There is also Maki Nakahara who shows off her knockers in a bunch of scenes where she is rolling around nude in bed with her lover. Take off your clothes? Just Go For It!!
