The French have a reputation as being brazen in the realm of romance. A married man’s mistress is taken as a simple fact of life. Fidelity is for fools. The Nude Set’s heroine, Sophie, is a bit of a bumpkin who follows her more-worldly boyfriend to the world’s center of sophisticated man-woman relations, Paris. Once in the City of Lights, Sophie realizes that she is nothing without a male. When she accompanies him to a debonair dinner club where the entertainment climaxes with a stripping filly, Sophie sees what she will have to do to snare her man.
