This French-Iranian actress studied theatre at Azad University in her hometown of Tehran before kicking off her acting career both on stage and screen in the early 2000s. Zar started to gain popularity when she appeared on the series Nargess from 2006 to 2007, and since then has bee recognized for her roles in Holy Spider (2022), White Paradise (2022), Shayda (2023), and Tatami (2023), which she also co-produced and directed. Her first time as an executive producer on a featre film came in 2025 with Satisfaction. She also stars in the film as Elena, a woman who throws a relationship between two British composers into even deeper trouble when she and the woman (Emma Laird) start to become close. The only thing more beautiful than the scenery of the Greek Isles where it takes place are Zar’s breasts and buns as she’s sunbathing!
