Christina Rainer was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and even though the city’s name is fun to pun, Mr. Skin is more focused on what the blonde babe has shown skin in, than in where that skin started out. A long and busy career in German TV is where Christina stakes her claim to fame, beginning with bit roles in television series and movies from 1996-2005. During this time, from 2000-2005, she also starred as Lena Czerni in Samt und Seide, translated as Velvet and Silk, for which we are grateful in their liberal use of nakedness. In multiple scenes throughout the life of the program, Christina’s character can be seen in various stages of dress: in black, lacy lingerie; braless camisoles; and nothing at all save for some tangled sheets or fading bubbles in the bath. Dark and full areolas and nipples highlight a solid handful of hanging breast and we are satisfied. More big parts in big series were on deck for charismatic Christina, and her CV includes M.E.T.R.O. – Ein Team auf Leben und Tod in 2006 as Marie Schlüter; Corinna Behrendt in Freundschaft mit Herz from 2005-2007; multiple parts in SOKO 5113 ranging from 1998-2017, and in Die Rosenheim-Cops from 2005-2019; and as Dr. Franziska Sommerfeld in The Old Fox from 2011-2021. While she tends to lean toward crime dramas, the power performer does like to throw in a romantic comedy now and then, and that’s good, since we’re kind of in love with Ms. Rainer and her Rainier mountains… (Frankfurt is out, mountains in Washington are not.)
